One of the main pillars of the Green Party is Ecological Wisdom. We must learn to live in a way which can be sustained. Most of us realize Climate Change is happening. We need to cooperate in order to adapt to the changing climate. We need to use less energy and the energy we do use must be a greener energy. We have a choice. We can continue on our present path until we use up our fossil fuels and other resources; or we can recycle our resources, use less energy, and use greener energy. I am running for Governor because I believe Michigan must begin this change process now. I am running for Governor because I believe that despite the economic crisis we are living through we can make Michigan a great place to live again. With the right leadership and some changes we can be a world leader in agriculture, education, manufacturing, and tourism.

In order to make the changes we need to make, all of us need to be prepared to make sacrifices. We need to revise our tax system so that we all share in rebuilding Michigan. We need to change our tax system to one where we are taxes fairly on our ability to pay. We need graduated Income, Property, and Energy Taxes.
